Delving into the “why’s” of today, the Residential College courses pose critical questions through interdisciplinary learning. In these cutting-edge experimental living-learning colleges, students and faculty teach and learn about the world around them in innovative ways.

Open to students in their first and second years at UNCG, the Residential Colleges offer students the opportunity to work alongside faculty on 21st Century problems. With four RC options to choose from, students can explore their interests and majors with the support of friends and colleagues in Core courses grounded in UNCG’s General Education curriculum.

UNCG’s RCs feature two sets of courses: Core and Residential College General Education courses. The Residential College curriculum offers students unique coursework that advances their intellectual and professional goals through general education courses. Taught by dynamic faculty dedicated to undergraduate teaching, the Residential College courses are designed and taught in new and innovative ways.
