During this time of remote learning, the Residential College advisors will offer email or phone advising sessions to all RC students upon request, with registration and scheduling completed by each Residential College’s advisor. Please check your University email regularly for communication from your RC advisor. If you have questions or need assistance, please direct your questions to Dr. Chrissy Flood, firstname.lastname@example.org, for Ashby College; Dr. Sarah Colonna, email@example.com, for Grogan College; or Ms. Anne Barton, firstname.lastname@example.org, for Strong College. Information on Fall 2020 RCO course offerings may be found at https://utlc.uncg.edu/residentialcolleges/core/.
Like the rest of campus, RCO courses have moved to an online learning environment for the remainder of the semester. Please check your University email and Canvas for course-specific instructions, updates, and due dates. If you experience any limitations with connectivity, please contact your instructor(s) directly to request accommodations.
For questions about your courses that extend beyond what your course instructor(s) may be able to answer or for information about non-course programs in your Residential College that may be canceled, postponed, or shifted to a virtual format, please contact Dr. Sara Littlejohn, email@example.com, for Ashby and Strong Colleges; or Mr. John Sopper, firstname.lastname@example.org, for Grogan College. Please also refer to each Residential College’s social media platform(s) for real-time updates.
If you are a prospective student, please know that space remains in all three of our Residential Colleges, with spaces filled on a first come, first served basis. To apply for a space in one of the Residential Colleges, return to your SpartanLink account and indicate “Yes”, where asked if you wish to join a Residential College. From there, the additional Residential College application questions will be made available to you in your SpartanLink account. Submit your responses to these additional questions and also complete the University’s Housing application, indicating Special Interest Housing. Once admitted to your selected Residential College, you will be assigned a room in either Mary Foust Hall (for Ashby College), Grogan Hall (for Grogan College), or Guilford Hall (for Strong College). For more information on the Residential Colleges, please visit https://utlc.uncg.edu/residentialcolleges/rc-faq/ or direct your questions to email@example.com.
If you have already submitted your application to the Residential Colleges and are interested in an update on your status, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for general inquiries or contact Dr. Sara Littlejohn, email@example.com, for Ashby and Strong Colleges; or Mr. John Sopper, firstname.lastname@example.org, for Grogan College.
