Vector Solutions Learning Options

The UTLC is excited to collaborate with Vector Solutions to provide faculty and staff with flexible, on-demand learning opportunities. These online, research-based workshops cover a range of essential topics, including search committee practices and accessibility strategies. Designed to fit busy schedules, most workshops take approximately two hours to complete. Upon completion, participants receive a certificate of recognition from the Office of the Provost.

All faculty and staff can utilize any Vector Solution course for their professional learning at no cost. Graduate Associates with teaching responsibilities can enroll in Title IX, Accessibility Awareness, or Personal Skills for a Diverse Campus (Graduate Student) courses.

Fostering Community for Faculty and Staff: This course asks
learners to be open and willing to reflect on their own experiences as they learn more skills to help create a campus community.

  • HARASSMENT, DISCRIMINATION, AND SEXUAL ASSAULT PREVENTION – The Harassment, Discrimination, and Sexual Assault Prevention courses satisfy Title IX and Clery Act requirements, as well as foster a safe and accepting campus environment.
  • SKILLS FOR COMMUNITY BUILDING – Skills for Building Community library supports institutions in teaching skills that foster community on their campus.
  • ATHLETICS – The Athletics library is specifically designed to meet the needs of student athletes and athletic staff.
    • USCAH ATHLETIC SAFETY TRAINING LIBRARIES* – Our USCAH Athletic Safety Training libraries offer essential training to improve athlete health and safety.
  • SECURITY AND RISK MITIGATION – The Security and Risk library is designed to help mitigate human error and address the personal and physical security aspects of institutional safety.
  • HEALTH AND HUMAN SAFETY – The Health and Human Safety library addresses the people-oriented aspects of safety, such as substance misuse and health emergencies.
  • HUMAN RESOURCES AND WORKFORCE MANAGEMENT – The Human Resources and Workforce Management library covers topics like HIPAA, FERPA, hiring considerations, and employee performance.
  • ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH AND FACILITIES MANAGEMENT – The Environmental Health and Facilities Management library offers tactile training for facility and asset maintenance, including basic facilities skills and hazard communication. 
  • FACILITIES MAINTENANCE – The Facilities Maintenance library covers training on topics like electrical, hydronic, and fire systems, as well as HVAC and plumbing.
